The much awaited UA Combine 2024 Malaysia is returning, and it will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the historic Sentul Depot Warehouse 2A & 2B in Kuala Lumpur. In its third year, this fitness tournament aims to surpass prior editions in size and intensity, solidifying its position as one of Southeast Asia's top sporting events.
The Ultimate Test of Athleticism
The UA Combine is a rigorous examination consisting of eight physical and mental tasks intended to challenge competitors to the utmost. It is not just a fitness competition. These tasks have been thoughtfully chosen to assess every aspect of athletic performance. Focusing on:
Agility: Agility Star Drill
Stamina: Pull-Up Beep Test
Vertical: Vertical Jump Test
Power: 20m Sled Push
Endurance: 20m Beep Test
Strength: 3RM Bench Press
Speed: 40-Yard Dash
Cognition: Reactive Intelligence Wall
After finishing these eight exams, each participant will receive points according to how well they performed. Athletes will be rated according to their total performance, which will be determined by adding together their scores from each challenge. Malaysia's UA Combine 2024 winners, both male and female, will take home renowned titles and financial rewards of RM15,000 for first place, RM7,500 for second, and RM3,000 for third. Due to their representation of Malaysia on this performance stage, these athletes will also receive national recognition.
Team Challenge and Additional Prizes
UA Combine promotes team involvement in addition to individual competition. Teams are made up of four competitors apiece, and the ranking of the team is determined by the sum of the individual athletes' scores. The winning team will get RM6,000 worth of Under Armour merchandise, underscoring the significance of collaboration in reaching optimal performance.
Training Sessions and Athlete Support
Under Armour Malaysia has teamed up with Celebrity Fitness and other gym operators to offer special "Train-to-Compete" sessions, which are intended to help athletes get ready for the competition. These training sessions, which are only open to registered competitors, will take place in the weeks preceding the competition. Registration Details
Athletes who are interested may sign up on the official website for UA Combine 2024. Anyone who is at least eighteen years old may register. Each participant will receive premium Under Armour clothing (from head to toe) and access to the unique training sessions for a cost of RM400.
